He should be a Maybelline Great Lash model, for crying out loud!
Glad you tried some of the games. I have done a lot of them and enjoyed them. I have heard so many bad stories about people and different trainers.

But you know I also know that my trainer hasn't worked out for everyone. Don't know why this is so - but I have seen relationships with my trainer and other clients go rotten. But he always goes the extra mile for me and in turn I do the same for him. It works so I don't mess with it.

I'm sorry you had such a hard time! I love that there are people out there teaching techniques that can really benefit horse and rider, but I hate it when it gets so overboard that people try to use it to overcompensate for simple lack of riding time.

But you know, everyone has to do what works the best for them and their horse. So I have tried a lot of the ideas out there, use what works for me and dump the rest of it.

The fact that Ozzie responded so well says that you have already developed your own style of teaching a horse to be respectful on the ground and he already has pretty darn good manners.BrownEyed Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610547057139295854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-34750317776029028782008-12-30T18:23:00.000-06:002008-12-30T18:23:00.000-06:00Great photos, love the new camera! Must be a girl thing! :O

Girl, I think you need to do what is best for you and Ozzie. I do alot of games and things with our horses, that I make up. I don't do Parelli or Anderson, I think alot of there's is commericalized. I said it and I'm sure I made some people mad. But that is my opinion. Use the tools you have at home and go from there. If it says "Umm I don't think that's very safe..." then don't do it.

There is alot of the NH stuff I don't like. Ya know who does a little bit of that stuff that I do like? Clinton Anderson. From what I have seen of him he seems very sensible. But they kinda all do some wacky stuff.

Neat reflection in his eye - my horse is a ham and loves it when Mom gets the camera out - cause it means more attention...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00029307154132762913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-982279581065705612008-12-30T14:33:00.000-06:002008-12-30T14:33:00.000-06:00please excuse all my spelling typos. It looks so velvety soft.
His fur reminds me of the plush Veleteen Rabbit fur. So soft!

I'm glad you're having a great time playing with Ozzie, and wow! The weather sure has changed..so fast!
I'm really hoping that if does warm up here in the mountains, that we don't end with a late freeze, snow and hail sotms in May and June.
Last year that happened and none of our apple, apricot or peach trees produced because the cold weather shocked off all their blooms. :P

~Lisa
New MexicoLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.com
