Ya know w...Joseph Sterling CC Buffalo Saddle huh?

Ya know when I was hunting for an english saddle last summer I was hearing some really great things about those....never got to try one but I have a pair of english reins by Joseph Sterling and they are quiet nice - the softness and "feel" of the leather is unlike anything I have come across.

I remember thinking when I pulled them out of the box that I should have waited and tried one of their saddles. Not that I am not happy with mine - I love my Beval! But still would've been nice to at least sit in one before I bought the Beval.

From the sounds of everyone else you'll be super happy with that saddle until you wear it the heck out! Congrats!

PS - Sidetracked is also a Pessoa fan, although she doesn't like some of their new stuff she said...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00029307154132762913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-21904767166267065742009-05-10T22:55:00.000-05:002009-05-10T22:55:00.000-05:00Great post! And I love the saddle, the colors are beautiful. You'll have to get the hubby to take some pics of you in the saddle, on that colt of yours! ;)Pony Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02464088874054923635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-68481142756073859262009-05-10T15:25:00.000-05:002009-05-10T15:25:00.000-05:00you dont have to explain yourself to me... i do ev...you dont have to explain yourself to me... i do everything in a dressage saddle.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17222011921491066599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-66435456504373104762009-05-09T20:16:00.000-05:002009-05-09T20:16:00.000-05:00I can say I have never ridden in a English saddle....I can say I have never ridden in a English saddle. I'm impressed! You'll have to show us some pictures of you riding a hunter jumper and eventing. How cool!

You know, I think I'm like you. I just don't think of holding on to the horn ever....which I wish I would have done when I fell of my mare on Christmas Eve. Maybe I would have been able to stay on?
But I don't think my seat is balanced and strong enough to ride English, though, either.
And quite honestly, I don't think any saddle's going to hold you on, unless you've got a seatbelt. It's a good balanced seat and legs that keep you on a horse. :)

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772447720984602729.post-763659865793472752009-05-09T11:18:00.000-05:002009-05-09T11:18:00.000-05:00I love it--"My name is Andrea and I love to ride E...I love it--"My name is Andrea and I love to ride English."

Too funny!
