Well, we didn't do anything super crazy and Cajun. But Mr. Cowboy's family sure knows how to fry up a turkey and make rice dressing along with some cornbread dressing. Lots of dressing. And guess what? No stuffing! Can you believe it? It was hard for me to realize that at first but really they don't cook a stuffing. They don't do mashed potatoes either. So, I make my own and bring those to dinner. I have to have mashed potatoes. Anyway, here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving meal. We eat around noon. What time do you eat? Growing up we ate Thanksgiving dinner at dinner time, 6pm.

We had one deep fried turkey, one oven baked turkey, and one ham. All three were delicious! The fried turkey was my favorite. While we waited for all the food to be ready. This is what people did to pass the time.

Mr. Cowboy scoped out the Black Friday Sales and figured out where he was going to shop.

Tina played some Farm Town. Her farm is fabulous. I am a Farm Town failure. I can't do it. Well, I don't have time to do it. I would rather blog, and I haven't had much time for that either!

The kids played!

It was Jules's birthday! The turned three.

Little Cowpoke was so excited it was her birthday.

Cowpokette stole some turkey bites.

So did Paw Paw.

Great Grandma helped get the food out and ready.

Then it was time to eat!! YUM!!! There was so much food!! The kids all sat at the Kids' Table.

Then the grown ups got to dig in!It was so good. After dinner we did a small birthday party for Jules.

It was a so fun. Then Paw Paw hooked up his big horse, Prince, to the wagon and took us all for a ride.

Paw Paw has trained Prince all by himself. He went from not knowing a thing about draft horses and pulling wagons, to going on trail rides just about every weekend. Paw Paw has always loved horses and riding and since he lost his leg he hasn't been able to do much riding. So, it's really neat that he now gets to go on all the trail rides with his horse. Oh, and Paw Paw built his wagon too!! Pretty neat huh!!

He even is a pretty good driver!

Red wanted to know where we were going. He always gets left behind. Poor guy.

This guy was too cool to sit at first, he rode on the back. Oh to be 13 again........

We passed some snotty cows. Just look at her!! She walks around with her nose in the air!

"
You will never see me hooked to a wagon pulling around crazy Cajuns!"
We kept on traveling down the road. I couldn't imagine traveling by horse and wagon anymore. It would take me an entire day to just get to the grocery store. We then passed the most adorable mini EVER!

He went crazy when we passed him! Just look how cute those legs are!!!

Then he BUCKED!! Oh, NFR watch out!!! Ha ha ha ha!!

He was just too adorable!!

The teenager girls that rode with us. Oh my, how I don't want my girl to grow up!!

Little Cowpoke loved the ride. He got to sit shotgun with Paw Paw. We then traveled back home and fed the mares. Poor Pearl just looks like she is getting old.

She had the last year and a half off to have her last baby. Now it's back to rodeo for her. He is going to be Little Cowpoke's and Cowpokette's horse. Little does she know, her lazy days are soon to be over.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! The countdown to Christmas Begins!!
