Well, it's that time of year again, where it starts to get really hot and kids start playing baseball. Little Cowpoke was so excited to start playing t-ball. He gets all into it. He's not really a fantastic player, but he is defiantly enthusiastic about it. You see he pays attention more to the lady behind the camera than he does the ball! He swings and it's..... A miss! He goes for another try.... and another.... and finally a HIT!!! And he's off, running, yes with his mouth wide open. Doesn't that child know we live in the most buggiest state? He's going to catch some with his mouth open like that! Still open.... Yep, still open...he had it open all the way to first base. The kid was so excited. The thrill of the game! Each kid gets to bat once and then they switch it up and go into the outfield. Little Cowpoke played first base. He was really excited about that. I don't think he got a single ball that was hit his way, but that is besides the point, first baseman is supposed to just stand there and look cute, right? Then it was time to bat again...t-ball around here moves pretty quickly. Okay, this next picture just crack me up...it's magic! The ball is hovering in mid-air! He totally hit the "t" and the ball stayed in the same place!! I love it!! LOL, he did eventually hit the ball, and he got to run the bases again. Smiling all the way.....He made it to second base where he talked a little smack to the other team. You gotta try to be intimidating. Look how tiny they look out there!! I love it! Then it was back out to the out field. This time they put Little Cowpoke on third base. He did better there. There weren't too many balls going his way. But it was so fun watching him play. Cowpokette even got to go out to the game and watch him play. She sat on Mr. Cowboy's lap the entire time. She got some strange looks from all the little kids that walked by. It's funny how kids thing a hot pink body cast is strange. Ha ha ha ha! Doesn't everybody have one?
But I am trying to catch up on my blog and get everything up to date, and trying to catch up with everybody else! I am so far behind! But photography has slowed down after Senior season, so I should have a bit more time now! :)

Part of why I love your blog is all the memories it brings back. I wish I had such a fast camera when my kids were little, I love that mid air ball shot. LOL. Your boy looked truly happy and that is how it should be.
Cute pictures!
adorable! The lighting is amazing, I love the glow... so perfect for an early summer evening
It is so cute how your kids often open their mouths wide with a big smile in their eyes when they are excited. It must be a family trait?
Too cute!
I can tell he's LOVIN' it!
God love him! He's so flippin' cute! Can't wait until I have one old enough for T-ball!
