Guess Who's Two!
It's really crazy how fast time flies by. It seems like just yesterday we brought Cowpokette home from the hospital. And now she is two years old!We had a small family party for her. Which was perfect. I didn't have to send out invitations and plan a big party. Plus she is two, she won't remember if she had a big party or not. She loved the fact that the presents were for her. She has watched both her brothers have birthdays, and finally it was her turn. Cowpokette looked into the bag and said, "A BABY!" She is absolutely obsessed with baby dolls. This is her very first Cabbage Patch Kid and they have the same name! She got a Mrs. Potato Head. Some clothes. Some hand made baby doll bedding from my Mom. She loved the pillow and blankets for her baby. A baby doll car seat. She has been dying for one of these. Yes, Cowpokette freaks out when ever we walk down the baby doll isle. Great Grandma got Cowpokette a big baby doll. She was so surprised and so excited. She also got some old baby clothes that were her Great Aunts when she was a baby. She was really excited about all the gifts she got.She was just overjoyed. All the cousins. All of Cowpokette's babies had to be in the picture too. Then it was time for the cake. I have been having some bad cake making sessions. So, I decided to just go with a plain cake for Cowpokette. Just a simple white cake with some pink flowers. I got frustrated with the icing so it's not that pretty. Happy kids wanting to eat some cake!We sang happy birthday to Cowpokette and she tried to blow out her candle. I still can not believe she is two already. She blew and blew and finally with some help from her cousins the flame went out. And she got to lick the candle. That is the best part. It's amazing how fast time flies, my baby is two years old.

That has to be the cutest post ever, LOL! :) She looks so adorable in her party dress. And the expressions on her face as she sees the dolls are priceless! I remember Cabbage Patch Kids (does that date me? :) It was sweet that big brother was helping her dress the dolls, too!
What a sweet little princess! Happy Birthday to You!
Come on now..... you mean there's a Cabbage Patch kid named Cowpokette!? :-) *grin*
My daughter got one 26 years ago back when folks were fighting for them at Christmas....literally hitting each other.
Cowpokette is as adorable as ever....maybe more!
the cake is huge! It's almost as big as her! I can totally see her LOVING the stroller! Ryanne takes her stroller and baby on our walks! She thinks it's so much fun that she and mommy are both pushing strollers! Now cowpokette and Ryanne need to get together with their strollers!
I think baby dolls from the look on her face, are a lot better than mr.potato head. Hehehe
Happy Birthday to a beautiful little Princess!
She totally matches the baby doll! They have the same expressions. I wish we could have been there, she is soooo cute! I can't believe she is 2 either. Where does the time go? I wish they would stay little longer. Happy Birthday Little Niece!!
What a doll..my littlest is 2 and like you I can't believe how big he is getting and how FAST! Kim
She is such a beautiful little princess! It's hard to believe she is already two!!
I didn't know there were any cabbage patch dolls named Cowpokette! ;)
I can't believe she's two already! Wow. What a beautiful little girl, and a perfect party for her. Also - love the cake. Simply yet elegant.
Those B-Day party pics are just too cute!
She is so darlin'! Love the excited doll pic! Too cute!
Look how long her hair has gotten!!!
I love the cake. I love to cook but I can never make cakes look any good. I think I need more practice!
The fillies look great! I haven't weaned my boy yet due to all the trama - ut I'm thinking within the next 6 weeks. He's gotten dark!!! I'll have to get pics up!
Awww-Happy belated B-day to Cowpokette! She has grown so much since you first started blogging.
Precious child who not only loves dolls, but looks like one herself. And that cake--that is not plain. I can only dream of being that fancy.
Happy Birthday, sweet girl.
Happy Belated Birthday to your precious daughter! She is so beautiful in all those photos, too. She wasn't too sure about Mrs. Potato Head, though. lol!
Your photos were great!
That cake looks lovely! Great job on it! My daugther would rather just have us stick a candle in a pot of frosting, instead of giving her an entire cake. She usually just scrapes off all the frosting and leaves behind the cake. lol!
