My Flea Market Goodies

The other day, I was looking around Etsy, and I found a bunch of things I wanted to make! I have all these ideas running through my head, so off to the local Flea Market for me! I found a lot of great things. I found a table!!Here is the table I got. I was so excited when I saw it. I even called Mr. Cowboy and asked him if I could get it. It has white chipping paint on it and it looked all old and rustic. Except, when I brought it home. It was a bit too white. It really stuck out and looked funny in my house. So, I took a rag with some stain on it and wiped down the table. This picture makes the color look funny, but I think it matches my house a lot better. Now it looks more "dirty" and less white. It was too beach house rustic white for my liking. It actually looks like I forgot one inside leg on the back left side. Sigh..........At least you can really see how white it was before! I then found this fantastic box!! I love it!! It's just the right size for my living room blankets. The box also has these great corners with metal strips down the sides. It's really fantastic. And for three dollars, I couldn't pass it up. I also got these fantastic jars. I am going to make this with them.....Is that not the cutest thing ever!! I am so excited about it!! I am also going to make a memory board out of chicken wire. Kind of like this one, but mine will have a rustic frame. I love the idea. I have a tall skinny frame that I am going to use for notes and such and then I am going to use a larger frame for pictures. I really love the chicken wire idea! Also, while I was at the flea market I saw a bunch of old shutters. I could not think of what to use them for, but then I saw this! I love this hook idea! I am not sure where I would hang this, but it's a great idea? Maybe in the boys' room? There were tons of those old shutters at the flea market. You can also make shelves with them too. I am also going to find some old door knobs to use by my garage door to hang book bags on!! I need to go back to the flea market to see if they have some door knobs!!
