The Rusults are In!!!!

Big Cowpoke came home from school yesterday and told me that his Valentine's Day box had won........THIRD PLACE!!! He was a little bummed that he didn't win first, but I reassured him that he did awesome and that third place was wonderful. He told me that first place was a mailbox that was hardly decorated at all (Big Cowpoke was upset about that), second place was a box that looked like a locker and was decorated like High School Musical. I thought that was pretty creative!! But Big Cowpoke was happy and he got a third place ribbon and his box was filled with candy and little valentines. Then of coarse Mr. Cowboy had to tease him about getting Valentine's cards from the girls in his class. Big Cowpoke gets all red and silly when we talk about girls. It's too cute. But speaking of girls, I haven't done an update on our growing pup. Belle is now 5 months old. She has started teething, I found a tooth on the floor! Belle is looking more "bully" everyday. Her chest is getting wide and her front paws are so much larger than her back paws. She really loves her boys. Yesterday, the boys and Belle were playing on a huge sand pile that we have in our pasture. Well, the donkeys decided to come and play too. So, the boys and Belle were sitting on the top of the pile and the two donkeys were at the bottom of the sand pile. Belle was growling and barking like crazy. She was trying to protect her boys from the evil donkeys. It was too funny. And can you believe it, I didn't have my camera!! Ahhhhh!!I brought Belle with us to the rodeo because I felt bad leaving her in her kennel all day long. The Arena has strict rules about dogs, so Belle had to stay tied to the truck the entire day. But she didn't mind. She just hung out in the shade and when the boys came over she would play with them. Belle has an awesome sniffer. When we arrived, she sniffed the air, taking in all the smells. She did not bark once. Such a good puppy. A big 35 pound puppy. But she is so sweet. Belle has really fit well into our family. Right in there with the goat and his tongue stilling out!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!

Way to go Big Man! I agree with him, a plain jane mailbox winning over his awesome box is not right, but it is good that he is learning to take the good with the bad ;)

And Holy Moly look at that bully! She is amazing! That is going to be one mighty fine looking girl.

Huge hugs and a Happy Valentine's Day to you all!

Awww..a big CONGRATS..there is nothing wrong with third place, it just means that the judges were confused and should have made him first...LOL...Love the puppy....Michelle

I loved the rodeo posts! I can't wait until my little "cowpoke" is big enough to ride with me. I've been looking online for the smallest saddle I can find that's made for a horse, not a pony. But maybe I could just put a pony saddle on Belle! I think she'll be plenty big enough!

Thanks for the Belle update. I was wondering how she was doing. Congratulate the winner of the Valentine's box and we are still enjoying those yummy suckers.

Belle is so cute! Is she a bulldog? I hope she doesn't get as fat as MY bulldog. Then you'd have to call her a fat cow. LOL

Super cute pup! And congrats on the 3rd place! My old school would never let a boy's box take first anyways, not with all the cute little girls boxes around. Maybe he ran into a little of that as well...

Bealle is such a beautiful girl! Five months already? Wow. I can only imagine how many people commented how beautiful she was while you were at the rodeo. I think your hubby really picked out a winner.
