Time, What Time? I Dont' Have Any.

I have not had time to do anything lately. I have been trying really hard at getting Peanut tied and worked every day. I have been practically living in the barn. I cleaned one extremely dirty saddle today. I found it was super easy to clean while on Peanut's back. He is short and it gave him some more tying time.

The Cowpokes and Cowpokette all rode Peanut today. He was back to his normal self. I am proud of him. I think he really needed a lot of riding time and attention. I have been working on his cues and getting him to trot off slow and collected. He is doing great. But with all my riding and the feeding of 16 horses, I have not had much time to cook dinner let alone blog. My father in law bought a new horse, because we needed another one, and I haven't even been able to take pictures of the way cute 9 month old Belgium. I think he is adorable. But I will do a catch up on everything.

I have some serious grocery shopping to do tomorrow with lots of money saving!! I am going to bet getting 5 dollars of frozen veggies for free! I am so excited. But, it's late and I want to go to bed. This weekend, I have a basketball game to go and watch on Friday night, Saturday is rodeo day, and Sunday I have to sing in church. No time. But I did have time to catch the donkeys licking the salt lick. Aren't they cute? Stormy is on the left, is a weanling and Misty is on the right. Misty is a two year old. I didn't name them. My mother in law did. I don't get it? Stormy?? Anyway, they are cute. I might not be able to post until Monday, but I have not died, I promise. I just am really busy this weekend.

What's your veggie deal? I might need in on that one! (As if 29 bags in the past two weeks wasn't enough?)

I was reading some of your post and you was talking about giving Peanut something to take the edge off. I use to give one of my horses BeeKalm and have used Be Quiet. Both are very good. Didn't bother with their performances it just took the edgness off. I was able to get in the gate and there wasn't any rearing up or anything. You have to give it to the horse about 2 hours before the show. I always just gave the whole tube. Hope this helps.

The donks are adorable! It's great to hear from you. Take care of yourself and don't get too burnt out from doing too much (coming from someone that gets wore out exhausted just butt scooting up and down the stairs). lol :)

Stormy and Misty were ponies from Chingontigue (sp?) island. Books by Marguarite Henry. Did she get the names from there? Stormy was Misty's foal.

I want a mini-donkey!

My goodness, I am worn out from you being busy, lol. It looks like you are, as they say, "you are burning your candle at both ends", try and take just a little time for you. Those photos are so cute of Stormy & Misty, catch you later.
