Tutu

I have been up to my eyeballs in tulle for the past two days. I got this hair brained idea that Cowpokette needed to have a tutu. So, I watched some videos on You Tube on how to make a No Sew Tutu and I read some "how to" articles and off to Hancock fabrics I went. I really do not like going into the fabric store. It down right makes my hands sweat. I know nothing about sewing and I am horrible at math. The math part comes in when they ask me how much fabric I want and it's all in yards and my hands start to sweat and I get all nervous and it's just horrible. But, I had a plan, I was going to buy four yards of each color that I wanted. So, that wasn't too bad. But anyway, I have a small fear of fabric stores. But I went in and got what I needed and survived. And this is what I ended up with. Every little girl should have a tutu! Cowpokette loves it and was dancing in it all morning. Little Cowpoke wants a green tutu. So, I am going to make him one too. He doesn't know it's just a girl thing. I won't spoil it for him. Now, I am off on an adventure with Mr. Cowboy to go and look at a used roping chute. We are going to Silsbee, Texas. I am really hoping the chute looks as great as the pictures were!!

That is crazy! It's so cute now all you need is a head piece and she'll be ready for Swan Lake.

Hi there, your little girl looks truly adorable. When my daughter was little she had a bright blue tutu that she wore EVERY day with red woolen tights and wellington boots, she looked different to say the least.Just for the record, I say paint her room Pink!

She's so cute! I always say that don't I?!

Just make sure Little Cowpoke where's his cowboy boots with it and then you can show the pics to his future girlsfriends. That makes it okay!

That tutu is FABULOUS! And do you know what I love? Mr. Cowboy is okay with Cowpoke getting a tutu as well. That's a REAL Cowboy, in my opinion! My man is the same way - he wears more pink than I do, and he's perfectly fine dressing our baby girl in blue or brown or pink or camo! LOVE it!

Wooooooow! You need to start helping with costume design for the little local ballet or something. That is adorable!! Yeah, don't tell the little guy it's for girls, I let my boys play with dolls until they got to preschool. It's good for the imagination.
