Lazy Sunday Afternoon

I do believe that every Sunday afternoon should be spent like this....... Just kicked back, relaxed, not a care in the world. Seriously, not a single care. Really, Ozzie, you could have a care right about now. Just a little sign of life, please? I was beginning to get worried. He was just laying there. And as I crept in closer, Ozzie still didn't move. Really, Ozzie, you are freaking me out!! I think you are just a bit too relaxed. "HUH, what? I was sleeping!! What's going on?" Ozzie must have been off in dream land. The little stinker scared me to death!! But he was fine. And now it's time for me to go and take a nap. Yesterday I spent the day at a HUGE flea market. I only got to shop in about 1/4 of the place. It was so much fun! And yes, I have pictures! Well, some pictures. Most of the time I was to busy shopping. Happy Day Light Savings Day!! Hooray for more light at night time. If that even made a bit of sense.

Ozzie must have been dreaming about oats and hay and that cute little mare he met at the trough.

He's beautiful.

It always scares me when horses do that, too! ;) Ozzie still looks like a baby in those pics. I know he's not all growed up yet, but for some reason those pics really show it.
I can't wait to hear what you got at the flea market! And I'm SO happy for extra hours of daylight, too!!

I get scared all the time from that exact same thing. Logic always says they're just resting, but my sick imagination gets the best of me.

Excited to see your pictures of shopping. Sounds like it was huge.

How cute! Yeah, when you get close and they don't get up, makes your heart beat just a little quicker doesn't it? lol

They drive me nuts when they do that! They must think we are nuts right? We sneak up on them whenever they are napping thinking that they are dead. They move a little and we lavish them with praise - I have no doubt they watch me head back to the house muttering something under their breath about "crazy girl human..."

I hate when the horses do that. It scares me too. I know they must be napping but so flat out and motionless, just not what I'm used to seeing I guess.

Ozzie looks like he didn't really want to get up even though he was now awake. Maybe he continued his nap while you took yours. LOL

I hear ya! Our old Man is the worst about laying flat out like that! It makes my heart stop every time I see it! I have made too many trips to the pasture to check on him! I watch him and if he is not up and moving when I think he should be, I'll walk out there and check on him. He always gives me that "What, I didn't do anything" look! Great pics!

Great photos. And I have to agree - that is the way to spend an afternoon.

Awwww! Ozzie is so gosh darn cute in that last photo!

I love seeing my mare curled up asleep. She reminds me of a sweet little puppy. Funny to think of our 1000+ lb critters like that, isn't it?
