Confession, I Love Hip Hop Dancin' and Lemonade

The other afternoon, when I should have been cleaning my house, I started watching MTV's show called "Made". It's where MTV goes and "makes over" people who want to become something new or different. The other day it was to make over three high school kids into Hip Hop Dancers. Mr. Cowboy and I have this thing for Hip Hop Dancers. We secretly want to become Hip Hop Dancers. We always watch movies that have something to do with Hip Hop Dancers. Here are a few of our favorites, that we own and watch over and over again. I really love the second Step Up. The dancing is really cool. And there is this one guy on it named Moose. He is an awesome dancer. His real name is Adam G. Svani, and boy can that boy dance. You can watch him dance here. He is the skinny one on the right. It's a short clip and really cool!! Then there are these movies. They are both really good. My Mom has watched them all with us and she liked them too. At the end of the movies they always play some really cool dance music during the credits, and the Cowpokes and I get up and try to dance like the people in the movies. But anyway, back to MTV Made. I was sitting there watching them do some moves, and of coarse I had to try them out. I so would love to be made into a Hip Hop Dancer! I think that would be so much fun. I could do this....Okay, so maybe I couldn't but I still think it would be pretty darn fun. There was even this huge online dance battle on You Tube. It was pretty cool. It was Adam/Chu Crew vs. Miley Cyrus with the M&M Crew. It was pretty cool to watch. I don't know how to put a You Tube video on my blog so here is the link to it, HERE.

One bad thing about Hip Hop Dancing is that it's really hard to do, and hard on your body, and let me tell ya, after 2 minutes of me pretending I was a Hip Hop Dancer in my living room, I was hurting. I think I pulled a few muscles in my neck and shoulders. I have been sore for about five days now. That's what I get for dancing when nobody is looking. I can get a little out of control.

But what could be better than some nice Lemonade after some Hip Hop Dancing? Nothing!! And I thank Train Wreck for giving me this award!! She had commented that there was nothing cuter than kids in a bathtub with a dog, besides, maybe kids in a lemonade stand with a dog. So, Train Wreck, this is for you!!Awhhhhh....the sweetness of it all. Okay, so I have a little time on my hands and my house is a disaster area. But now I have something to show for it. Thank you Train Wreck. So, here is what the real Lemonade Stand award looks like. The Lemonade Award is for blogs that show great attitude. When you get This Award, you can also pass it on to other bloggers who you think show great attitude and gratitude. Hooray!!

Blogging is always such an education...I've heard of hip hop but didn't have a clue...it's a long way from our two-stepin' 'n waltin' LOL, but looks like a good time.

Just keep practicing...but not too rough!

And yes, you deserve the Lemonade award...you're blog is always so fun!

Congrats on your award, and hip hop dancing is strenuous, isn't it??? I was doing some "old school" hip hop at a wedding reception, and I swear that I was sore for a week after...lol!!!

I just had to let you know that your last post totally cracked me up!! I always silently complain about the EXACT same thing!!! The worst part is getting Bo tacked up, and then putting Sienna's harness on (no easy task) only to have them be-bop around for 20-30 minutes...lol!!! I always want to pull my hair out when they are done.

Kid's and horses are a lot of work, and I now have more appreciation for my mom, for putting up with four of us kids and our horses. :)

Congrats on your award! Lemonade sounds good about now but the weather to go with it would be even better.

I totally just got sucked in to the M&M v ACDC war on YouTube, and spend a good 30 minutes checking out their videos. Thanks for that! Haha!

A girlfriend and I used to take a lazy Sunday every now and then and watch those horrible movies with awesome dance sequences...You Got Served was always a favorite! And when I first met my fiance, I made him go see Step Up 2 The Streets with me in the theater! Poor guy. ;)

I have seen the show too. My niece was tapped for it and then they decided not to air it...

If this was April, I'd think this was a prank! I would love to see you guys dancing away! :) So fun. That Mr. Cowboy seems like a complex creature--wrestling alligators one day, watching hip hop the next.

Kids are cute in that stand. I MUST get photoshop!
