What Big Brothers Are For

Little Cowpoke is a really good big brother. He can be a bit of a bully sometimes, but most of the time he is so sweet to his sister. Such a big helper. Even if Cowpokette doesn't want him to give her some pushes. Just look at her face!! She was so mad! But once she understood what he was doing, she was okay with it. She is so lucky to have two big brothers that help take care of her. I hope they will always help her out and watch out for her.

Pearl still hasn't had her baby. Ugh......she is getting turned out into the big pasture today. I will keep her in at night and then let her out in the mornings. Maybe if I don't get my hopes up, she will have this foal.

Boy she is hanging on to that one isn't she? Hope everything is okay.

I'm sure you'll be like - screw you then Pearl, I don't want to see your baby anyway! Then the next day you'll wake up to find a new baby! LOL!

Wait - I'll send you the spring snow storm we're getting again. Maybe the change in pressure will bring it on!

It's not working for me however...

What fun pictures - I love when the kids actually help each other instead of fighting for once.

Precious kids you have, Andrea. Good luck with the foal. We might be getting a quarter horse that is due in June. Today, our neighbor called to give her to us. We don't really need or want another horse, which will end up being two, but.... my hubby bonded with her last week when we were over there. Time will tell which way the wind blows.

A watched pot never boils ya know.
She'll have her baby in her own time. :)

You have two older boys and a younger girl, just like me. My daughter's big brothers are very loving and protective of their little sister. One of them tends to annoy her and they aggravate each other, though they do love each other.
It's so sweet seeing those special moments with our children isn't it?
