Dresses and Some Scrapping

There is just something about little girls and dresses that I just love. It is like having a little baby doll. Except this one wakes up at night, spits up, poops, and cries. So, it's nothing like having a baby doll, but she is still fun to dress up any way.

This is Cowpokette in her dress made by Grandma J. She is so cute. The bonnet is a bit big but her head is growing fast so it will fit soon. And look, I actually have my hair done!! It's not very often that it is down and brushed!!

Here is her blessing dress. I just think it is positively perfect. Simple and beautiful. I love how long it is. Grandma J made this one too!! She is so crafty and I am so thankful to have such a crafty mother. But anyway, when we were making this dress, we took out two panels. Could you imagine how huge this dress would be with two more panels??? WOW!! But I love it.

Cowpokette loves it too. She is really getting so expressive. She smiles at her cowpoke brothers. So sweet. Here is Paw Paw and Mr. Cowboy. I think this is funny. Paw Paw looks so nice. He never gets dressed up and here he is. No it was not a funeral. He does go to a lot of those though.

I just love my Cowpokes and Mr. Cowboy too. They are so much fun. They were all saying, "The sun is in our eyes, hurry up, come on, CHEESSSEE!!" They are all such good sports.

I just love seeing a dad and a daughter and the special love they share. But sorry Mr. Cowboy she is mine!! You will have to fight me for her!! She loves her mommy!!

Now here we are. Us girls. The only girls. We are surrounded by boys. We even have two boy dogs. Man we need some more girls around here!!

Now this has nothing to do with dresses but man is it cute. Little Cowpoke got new boots, that look just like his old boots, just bigger. He was so worried because he drooled on them. So horrible when your new boots get drooled on.

Oh and I almost forgot. I finished a layout the other day. I have not had a bunch of time to scrap lately but I just love Vicki Stegall's new Michale kit!! You have to check it out!! Love it. You can find the credits here. I will have to hold out on the make up post until next time. It's great, you won't want to miss it. You all come back now ya here.

My daugther and I are surrounded by boys too - hubby, son, 2 male dogs, 2 male cats and the rooster... oh wait the 4 dairy goats and the 8 hens means we aren't outnumbered afterall! :)

Beautiful dresses that Grandma J made.

Super cute pictures. Having a baby girl is so fun. For a while it is like having a real life baby doll.

That is a gorgeous dress. I love the long dresses for dedications, baptisms etc... And that was a great LO!

Gorgeous and amazing photos. Looking forward to seeing your LO's with these. Enjoy the dresses stage while you can - halloween costumes are the only dresses you can get my 2 daughters into these days!

Wow - love those scrapbook pages. The most creative I get is with color-blocking. Isn't it fun having a little girl after 2 boys? Enjoy it - you only have about 12 years before she goes berserk. Just kidding - it really doesn't happen to all of them. I'm one of the lucky ones.

Wonderful pictures. Your psot reminded me just how much I miss scrapbooking. Since we have adopted our four girls, I just don't have the time.
